Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
What this page is
Washington’s My Health My Data Act protects consumer health data: information about your health, including your mental and sexual health and the steps you take to heal. Much of what you tell Made New fits that description, so this page explains how we handle it. We follow it for every member in the United States, wherever you live.
Made New is made and run by Visionary Advisors LLC. When this page says “we” or “us,” it means Visionary Advisors LLC. This page sits alongside our Privacy Policy (getmadenew.app/privacy), which covers everything else.
Last updated September 2026.
The health data we collect, and why
- Your quiz answers: what you are walking away from, how many days it pulled you back in during the past week, your triggers, the hard times of your day, where it has touched your life, your goals, and the truth about yourself you chose. We use them to shape your plan, your daily steps, and your reminders.
- The plan we build from those answers: its focus and its pace. It is our read of your answers, made to help you, and never a diagnosis.
- What you log: check-ins and their notes, the days you marked as hard, the hard moments you logged, your Steady Me and Be Still sessions, lessons finished, journal entries, your reasons, and your days walked. We use them to show your progress, to keep your plan in step with you, and to back them up so they follow you to a new phone.
- What you write to the companion. Your messages go to our AI provider so it can reply, with the details listed under “Who receives it.” We don’t store the conversation.
- What you share with a Circle: check-ins, prayer requests, and encouragement you choose to post. We use them only to show them to the members of that Circle.
- Reports you file about a post or a member, which can describe what happened. We use them to keep Circles safe.
- Product events: short codes like “checked in” or “logged a hard day,” tied to your account. We use them to see where the app helps and to fix what breaks. Never the words you write.
- That you use Made New at all. Having an account, a subscription, or a spot on our waitlist could suggest you are looking for help, so we protect that fact the same way.
Before you have an account, the quiz only adds one to a daily count for each step reached. That count holds no answers, no account, no device id, and no IP address. It can’t be linked to you, so it isn’t health data about you.
Where it comes from
Almost all of it comes from you, as you type or tap it into the app. Some comes from how you use the app, like the product events and your days walked. What a Circle shows you comes from the members who chose to post it. We never buy data about you, and we never get it from data brokers, advertisers, or other apps.
When we collect and share it
We collect this data only to give you the app you asked for, and we share it only as this page describes. Sending your messages to the companion’s AI provider needs your permission first. The companion asks before its first reply, and you can withdraw that permission anytime in Settings → Privacy & sharing → Companion data. Anything you post to a Circle is shared because you chose to post it.
Who receives it
These companies work for us and may use your data only to do that work:
- Supabase, our database provider, stores your account and everything you back up, on Amazon Web Services servers in Northern California. It holds every category above.
- Anthropic, our AI provider, receives your companion messages with your first name, your chosen purpose, the truth you chose, and, when it matters, your days walked and what you named as your struggle. Only after you say yes. Never your email.
- Expo and Apple carry each Circle alert to members’ phones. An alert names a first name and what happened, like “Ana asked her Circle to pray,” never your struggle.
- Resend, our email provider, sends your account emails and our notes to the waitlist, and carries each report to our team’s inbox. A report can include what the person who filed it wrote. It also delivers the emails you send us.
- Google hosts our team’s email inbox, where your emails to us and report alerts arrive.
- Vercel runs our website and passes waitlist sign-ups and report alerts along to our database and our inbox.
- RevenueCat and Apple receive your purchase receipt and an account id. That shows only that you subscribe to Made New, nothing you logged.
The members of your Circle see your display name, whether you checked in today, your days walked if you turn that on, and what you choose to post.
We have no affiliates, so no affiliate receives your data. We never sell consumer health data, and we never will.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data. (We never sell it.)
- Show you your data, with a list of every company that received it and how to reach each one.
- Delete your data. Settings → Account → Delete account does it at once, or we can do it for you. We also ask the companies above that hold it for us to delete their copies, and copies in our backups age out within six months at most.
- Withdraw your consent. Turn off Companion data in Settings → Privacy & sharing, or ask us, and we stop.
To ask, email support@getmadenew.app from the address on your account, or tell us which address it is. We may ask you to confirm it is really you, so no one else can reach your data. We answer within 45 days. If we need more time, up to 45 more days, we’ll tell you why within the first 45. Asking is free, up to twice a year, and we will never treat you differently for asking.
If we say no
If we turn down your request, we’ll tell you why. You can appeal by replying to our answer, or by emailing support@getmadenew.app with “Appeal” in the subject line. We’ll answer in writing within 45 days, with what we decided and why. If we still say no, you can file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General at www.atg.wa.gov.
What we never do
- We never sell consumer health data.
- We never use it for ads, and we never let an advertiser see it.
- We never collect your location, so we never draw a boundary around a clinic, a church, or anywhere else to track who goes there.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll show it in the app. Questions: support@getmadenew.app.
